You should be able to find it on their website. Microsoft released a firmware update on the 5th of Feb that I think improved the condition but hasnt fixed it as I saw a noticable difference before and after installing it. I made a few correlations that helps get around it sometimes, that being if the fan isnt running then the game is most likely going to crash and gpu disconnect, so make sure it is running. Yea this is a really common issue that Ive been battling with for the past month or two. Then you'll need to replace the sb3 most likely - common issue across sb models. Update windows until no updates are shown after rebooting, then update windows store apps, and finally run a quick antivirus scan.Ĭonsider installing Ublock Origin extension in Edge to block ads for reduced vulnerability to web attacks, internet usage, while increasing speed. On a side note idk if it actually helps but I like to open a game and then alt enter it to windowed mode that way if it does crash I can just exit out. I don’t know why this works but it does for me. Boot up the game and right as I get to the menu, the GPU vanishes, game crashes. I’ll (alt+enter) to enter windowed mode so I can watch it occur. I’ll check my device manager and see that the Nvidia GPU is connected. I was able to play the game like twice before this began to occur regularly. Hey I’ve been running into this issue consistently with my SB3 trying to play Assassins Creed Valhalla.
